Two events around Chris Marker, not to be missed!
This promises to be a "Joli Mai" as two events celebrate the work of French filmmaker and multimedia poet Chris Marker.The Harvard Film Archive is offering a program entitled The Second Life of Chris Marker from May 9th to 16th with screenings of a selection of his films and a very special "virtual" appearance by Marker as he gives a live tour of his Second Life cyber-museum, "Ouvroir," and also answersquestions on-line from the audience on May 16th.For more details and a list of the films being screened with showtimes, please visit the HFA website.In New York City, the Peter Blum Gallery in Chelsea will present an exhibition of photographs and video installations by Marker, opening May 16th.
