JUSTICE (JUSTIÇA) and THE TAKE Win
Latin American Studies Association Awards
At the upcoming Latin American Studies Association Conference (March 15-18 in Puerto Rico), both THE TAKE and JUSTICE (JUSTIÇA) will honored with an Award of Merit in Film.

JUSTICE (JUSTIÇA), which will have its U.S. Theatrical Premiere at Film Forum later this year, has won several international prizes, and offers an intimate look inside the Brazilian justice system.

THE TAKE ("Editor's Choice! "Highly Recommended! A genuine thriller in the Costa-Gavras vein." - Video Librarian) is the story of unemployed Argentinian workers taking over closed factories -- a story with universal implications.

Additionally, LA SIERRA, recently nominated a Best Documentary Award at the upcoming Independent Spirit Awards and selected for next month's prestigious Documentary Fortnight Series at the Museum of Modern Art, will screen at the LASA Conference Film Series.
